My Photo

I'm reading

  • I need a book, and bad

I'm watching

  • The Sopranos
The only problem is that everyone's seen it and no one wants to talk about it any more.

I didn't even know you read my blog. :-)

Did you know that Jana and I are also adopting from Korea? We are done with all the paperwork and awaiting a referral. I believe we are signing up for race-related issues for the rest of our lives, but when compared with the other aspects of parenting and falling in love with a child, those issues are small.

Korean culture may have gender issues, but they swing both ways. We've been given to understand that more boys are available for adoption because Korean families tend to keep daughters because they are seen as more dedicated to their families? Something something.

How far along the process are you?

Oh! I remember that, now. Yay again!

Kat! It's because of you! You found out we were both adopting and connected me to his blog, which I enjoy regularly. Good luck with your move.

Even though it seems odd, for some reason this whole entry makes me want to say, "yay!"

Also, how do you know Mr. Beagley? He's in my writing group! (Though I haven't been in months and months and can hardly call it "mine" anymore.)
