When I was four, I moved away from Chicago, and all my old friends too. Since then my life has been changing from friends to no friends, no uniform to uniform, and I was pulling in and out of happiness. I kept asking when we would be moving back but the same answer always flew back at me, "We aren't going back." And after a while I understood. When I moved it was in the middle of summer so we had to find a new school for me because we could no longer use my old school in Chicago and we stumbled across my first school where I met my best friends. We didn't have my brother H. yet and my pestering about wanting someone to play with hit the line. which led to the result about going all the way to Korea to get our zero year old H. Then my mom said we had to move schools. Right after I had settled in too! So took a few tours around a few schools I picked out my favorite. All the girls (and even a few boys too) were flirting with H. even if they were in third grade. I guess it all worked out fine in the end, I have friends, and I've gotten used to the uniform again. People at new schools who are reading this, "make friends fast!"
