Elizabeth McQuern

She was one of my favorites, too. A very special writer. "Wrinkle in Time" was like the Bible to me when I was a wee little nerd girl. Bless you and thank you, Miss Maddie.

Hi Doll,
I just bought a copy of *Wrinkle In Time* for the workshop this season. I loved that book to the point that it scared me when I was in 4th grade. I think she taught here at Loyola at one point. I think she was a devout Catholic too. I also will miss Grace Paley, one of the all-time greats. Tonight we start the next Lakeside session WITHOUT YOU. Never hesitate to show up if you can swing it. In the meantime we love you and we love your writing.
